WHY VISIT MEXICO

The fascination that Mexico has for visitors is due to several reasons; the exuberant and fun-loving people, the Maya and Aztec cultures, the incredible natural beauty, the colonial architecture… This diversity does not fail to seduce its visitors.

Mexico gives a glimpse of the Mexican extravagance; its historical riches rubbing shoulders with the slum districts, the National Palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral, Alameda Park surrounded by streets lined with old colonial houses, the magnificent Constitution Plaza and not forgetting the Pyramid at Cuicuilco and the National Museum of Anthropology amongst many other wonders that await you.

In Oaxaca State, the town with the same name has a particular atmosphere that seduces all who visit; its streets lined with old houses and its Indian population are certainly major attractions together with the beautiful surrounding countryside.

The various Mayan ruins at the Yucatan peninsula are definitely worth a visit together with Chichén Itzá, a magnificent well-restored pre-Columbian city that is particularly spectacular during the equinoxes for its snake of light and shade that can be seen climbing the steps at El Castillo.

In the south, the Chiapas offers a variety of landscapes to be enjoyed; the lake area of Montebello, the falls at Agua Azul, the ruins of Palenque, the colonial town of San Cristobel de las Casas and Sumidero Canyon each give you a different perspective on its diverse treasures.
