The Parc Güell is an obligatory stop on every tourist route to Barcelona, one of the things to see absolutely in Barcelona.

The history of this park is linked to the idea of the financier Eusebi Güell who at the beginning of 1900 commissioned to Gaudì the project of building a “garden-city” in one of its great properties.

The plan was great: build a small town with 60 houses completely immersed in a park, respecting the shape of Mount Carmel, its nature, without cutting down any tree and with an ingenious system of water recovery.

Here the climate is magnificent and the view of the sea and Barcelona is enviable.

Built between 1910 and 1914, unfortunately, or fortunately, the original project was realized only in part and at the death of Guell, in 1926, the park was donated to the city.

From that moment Parc Güell is part of every tourist itinerary in Barcelona and is considered one of the most beautiful parks in the world.
