Certainly one of the most extravagant hotels in the world: it’s called Jumbo Stay Hotel and it is a Boeing 747 located between the take-off and landing runways at Stockholm airport, equipped with rooms and suites.

It is really the dream of every aviation enthusiast, suitable for families with children but it is also really handy if you have to catch an early flight and did not want to risk being blocked up in the traffic.

It is easily reachable with a shuttle and is just 5 minutes from the check-in desks.

All rooms, about 27, can accommodate 1 to 3 adults, have a shared bathroom, and are small, suitable to spend only one or two nights. The two rooms in the aircraft tail and the one obtained from the cockpit are fitted with private baths and can be considered real suites.

Who chooses the cockpit will fall asleep between the lights of the airport and will have an open view on the runway.

If your desire is rather to have a good night’s sleep in a quiet and traditional hotel, you can even visit it, or drink a coffee in the bar located in the center of the plane.

Since a few years, was also mounted a side platform in order to experience the feeling of walking on the wing.
