Palawan, in the Philippines, has been voted for the second consecutive year as “the most beautiful in the world”.
Who would not be here right now?
With its turquoise waters, pristine beaches, emerald lagoons, and magnificent limestone cliffs, Palawan has been voted for the second consecutive year the most beautiful island in the world by the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine.
Over the years also Conde Nast Traveler and National Geographic Traveler had given the Oscar to this island.
At the second-highest step of the podium, there is another Philippine island Boracay, located at the northern end of the island of Panay, while in third place there is the Italian island of Ischia.
Palawan covers over 480 km between the Malaysian Borneo and the main islands of the Philippines.
Here you can go diving, take guided tours, closely observe the rare and beautiful creatures of the sea. Swim in its beautiful turquoise waters, walking in the midst of lush forests or the white sandy beaches. On the island of Palawan also we find the second longest underground river in the world, 5 km long.
El Nido, a group of coral islands and hidden bays between the cliffs, is one of the prettiest spots.
Pack your luggage, the best time to visit is from November to April, the dry season.
